Personal Profile

Biography

Dr. Faisal Kabir is a Professor of Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Patuakhali Science and Technology University. He obtained his PhD from the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Technology, Shinshu University, Japan in 2014 and he has completed his Postdoctoral research from Kagoshima University, Japan in 2016. Dr. Faisal Kabir has secured B.Sc. A.H. (Hons) from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry in 1996 and Master of Science (MS) in Animal Nutrition from the Department of Animal Nutrition in 2000 from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He is serving as a faculty member of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Patuakhali Science and Technology University since 2005. During his long career, he has performed his duty as a Chairman of the Department and as a Dean of the Faculty.

Research Interest

Ruminant Nutrition, Fodder Cultivation, Feeds and Feeding, Feed Processing and Conservation.
