Biography
Muhtasim is currently serving as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), where he joined in June 2025. Prior to this, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) from December 2021 to June 2025. During his tenure at BAUET, he taught various undergraduate courses, supervised student integrated design projects and theses, and contributed to academic development. He also served as the House Tutor of Boral Hall and held the position of Vice President of the BAUET Computer Society, actively participating in student engagement and co-curricular activities. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Information Technology from Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Bangladesh, securing a CGPA of 3.80 and achieving 2nd position in the merit list. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same institution with a CGPA of 3.60, achieving 3rd position. Prior to his university education, he obtained his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Science from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, and his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science from B.L. Government High School, Sirajganj—achieving a GPA of 5.00 in both examinations.
