Biography

Md. Rahmat Sarker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law and Land Administration at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Bangladesh. He joined the university as a Lecturer and has since been engaged in teaching, academic activities and legal research. His academic background is rooted in the discipline of law, with particular emphasis on land law, land administration, constitutional law, environmental law and socio-legal studies. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Honours) and Master of Laws (LL.M.)  from the Department of Law, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His academic education has provided him with a strong foundation in legal principles, statutory interpretation, judicial decisions and the institutional dimensions of law and governance. As a faculty member of the Department of Law and Land Administration at PSTU, he is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate legal education. His teaching interests cover a wide range of legal subjects, particularly those relating to land administration, property rights, constitutional governance, and the administration of justice.
