Mohammad Abdulla Al Noman is a dedicated researcher and academic with a strong interest in sustainable food systems, nutrition, and innovative food resources. Currently pursuing a PhD in Food Engineering and Technology at Bangladesh Agricultural University, he focuses on advancing scientific knowledge in the fields of food science and sustainability. His doctoral research, titled "Production of vegetable flakes for baked goods fortification," explores the potential of underutilized local crops to address global challenges related to nutrition, food security, and environmental sustainability.
Prior to commencing doctoral studies, Mr. Noman earned a Master's Degree in Food Technology and Engineering from Patuakhali Science and Technology University and a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the same university as well, where he developed a strong foundation in food science, nutrition, and research methodologies. Throughout his academic journey, he has demonstrated a commitment to interdisciplinary research and evidence-based solutions for contemporary food and health challenges. In addition, in 2023, he completed a one-year MS-taught program in food and dairy technology at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, where he gained international experience in advancing industrial food processing technology.
Mr. Noman's research interests include sustainable food systems, functional foods, marine bioresources, food innovation, nutritional biochemistry, and the development of nutrient-dense food products. He has participated in academic conferences, research collaborations, and scholarly activities that contribute to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable food resources and their applications.
As an emerging scholar, Mr. Noman is passionate about bridging scientific research and practical applications to promote resilient and sustainable food systems. He aspires to contribute to academia, research, and policy development by advancing innovative strategies that support global food security and safe food production for all.
