DR. Shampa Rani, working as a Lecturer, Department of Pathology and Parasitology under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Dumki, Patuakhali-8602, Bangladesh since 22 March 2023. She has completed her MS in (Pathology) degree under Dept. of Pathology and Parasitology in 2019 from Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU). She has obtained her Bachelor of DVM degree in 2017 from Patuakhali Science and Technology University. She has been secured an excellent academic record with six months duration of internship program. She has a track record of achievement. She has received Chancellor’s Gold Medal-2018, Prime Minister Gold Medal-2018, National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship in 2018 from Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and Dean's Merit Award for outstanding academic result in Bachelor in DVM in 2016, 2017, and 2018 consecutive in a row. She has keen interest to work for animal health and welfare. She had been working as Livestock Extension Officer (LEO) in National Agricultural Technology Program- Phase II Project (NATP-2) funded by The World Bank, jointly with IFAD and USAID along with Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock (MoFL), Bangladesh from March 2020- February 2023. Her area of specialization is sero-pathological diagnostic techniques, histopathology, isolation and identification of bacteria, fungus.
